Maris Paraty is a small and exclusive guesthouse. With only 6 accommodations ( 2 bungalows, 2 first floor suites and 2 ground floor suites) we seek to maintain a peaceful environment, ideal for couples in the first place.
We are located in the Caborê neighbourhood, which is a quiet residential area, only 10-15 min walking from the historic center of Paraty, an adorable and short stroll along the river Perequê.
The property has lush tropical gardens, plentiful of orchids and bromeliads, surrounding a swimming pool area and relaxing guestrooms, all dedicated to the comfort of our guests. We’re proud to offer personalized service, providing greater privacy and comfort.
OUR ACCOMMODATIONS
BANGALOW
The bungalow is an independant building separated from the main house, ideal for couples seeking privacy and romance. It measures 45m2, provides a terrace with hammock, a small pantry and living area. Amenities include a kingsize bed, split airco, minibar, smart tv, coffee machine, kettle, cooktop, bathroom with bathrobes and bath amenities. Breakfast is served privately on the terrace of the bungalow. Parking space is guaranteed for the bungalow guests.
FIRST FLOOR SUITE
The suites located on the first floor of the main house, accessible by stairs. The rooms measure approximately 30m2 and include a private terrace. Breakfast can be received into te room or otherwise be taken at the reception area. Amenities include kingsize bed, split airco, minibar, smart tv, coffee machine, kettle, bathroom with bath amenities.
The suites do not have guaranteed parking space inside the property and availability will be informed at check-in time.
We are located in a quiet street in a safe neighbourhood with parking availability in front of the guesthouse.
GROUND FLOOR SUITE
The ground floor suites of the house are located near the reception area. The rooms measure approximately 20m2. Amenities include a queensize bed, split airco, minibar, smart tv, bathroom with bath amenities. Breakfast is served on the sunny terrace, in front of the swimming pool area.
The ground floor suites do not have a guaranteed parking space within the property and availability will be informed at check-in time. We are located in a quiet street in a safe neighbourhood with parking availability in front of the guesthouse.
SERVICE
Our services are personalized and we try our best to recommend the best customized activities for our guests. Our reception and concierge service is open from 2 pm until 8 pm. Our breakfast is served from 8 am until 10 am. We have daily housekeeping and cleaning service from 11 am until 3 pm.

Our 2 bungalows are very popular among couples that want to celebrate special dates such as honeymoons, engagements, babymoons, wedding anniversaries,… For such occasions we can organize a romantic package deal that includes sparking wine, candles, flower arrangement, chocolates and a personalized card. Please ask for more info and prices for this service at the reception desk.
We have parking space for 3 cars within the property, accessible by an electric gate. The vacancies are reserved for the bungalows in the first place. The other suites must check parking availability at check-in time. The guesthouse is located in a quiet residential street with street parking place in front of the guesthouse.
We can book regular transfers from Rio, Ilha Grande and São Paulo.
We also do have a flat in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, with service. Available for seasonal rental also.
BREAKFAST
Rich and extensive breakfast and served individually between 8h and 10h, can be requested through whatsapp. Homemade and served with affection, with a variety of fruits, breads, cakes, jam, homemade yoghurt and granola, cold cuts & cheese, freshly prepared juice, coffee, milk, English tea, baked bananas, eggs prepared to your choice. Many of the products are recipes from the owner.
When requested in advance and to some extent, special requests and food restrictions will be accomodated.
